Hi guys,
I was planning on a Control 4 multi-room music system but with the arrival of Apple TV2 I put the project on hold to see what happens. I'm still confused about the possibilities, but I'm ready at least to give Apple a try for this project...
Being a newbie, but also wanting good good music quality, I came to the "conclusion" that I should connect the Apple TV to a DAC using the Toslink, and the DAC must then connect to a power amp (the system should feed a stereo system in a small/medium room with 2 Monitor Audio R90HD speakers).
Would that work well?
:(I'm still divided between the DAC Magic and the V-DAC, the latter being more affordable (If it works well, I'll implement this in 7 different rooms - so price is a consideration)... but would happily take any advices!
:rolleyes:And finally, I'd like your input about the power amp... the system should have a small footprint and I don't need tooooo much power... (is the Dayton APA150 a bad choice?)
Thanks in advance!
