Just picked it up from Fry's for $25 but I am now contemplating to either watch it now or wait until new receiver gets here so that I can enjoy the 24-bit PCM soundtrack. Anyone else get it as well?
Disney is setting you up for the 4th film.I just found out there is another scene after the credits where it's 10 years later Elizabeth is walking to a hill with her son and sunset hits and Will appears. My question is if his debt is now complete after 10 years and he can be normal or if he can only appear every 10 years for a day? I didn't understand that part.
Yeah I was kind of pissed at the ending at first but after seeing it again I must admit it is quite good. It is not one of cliche happily ever after type endings. There should be a 4th film, I'm not tired of POTC just yet (same can't be said for Spider-Man).Disney is setting you up for the 4th film.
What I loved about the 3rd film was the ending. I don't think many people saw it coming. This is why I enjoyed it more than the 2nd.
In the Disney, "What will you get" insert in the Blu-ray case, it says "Every 10 years, Will may step on land for one day. He is bound to the Flying Dutchman forever."I just found out there is another scene after the credits where it's 10 years later Elizabeth is walking to a hill with her son and sunset hits and Will appears. I bought Pirates 3 BD from Wal-Mart for $30. I haven't watched it yet, though. I'm sure the sound will be just as good as the first two.Just picked it up from Fry's for $25 but I am now contemplating to either watch it now or wait until new receiver gets here so that I can enjoy the 24-bit PCM soundtrack. That was in the theatrical release, but I wager most people leave when the credits roll...not a good thing to do in a lot of Disney and also Pixar movies.I just found out there is another scene after the credits where it's 10 years later Elizabeth is walking to a hill with her son and sunset hits and Will appears. Yeah, it's funny how they've been doing that with a lot of movies lately. Like at the end of X3. You have to hear from somebody about it. Luckily, I heard about both X3 and Pirates. The ending of X3 was cool, but the one on Pirates was kind of a let down. You sit there for what seems like an eternity and you get this little 15 second clip. I was like, "That's it?!?!"That was in the theatrical release, but I wager most people leave when the credits roll...not a good thing to do in a lot of Disney and also Pixar movies.

I thought that was about the only good scene in the WHOLE movie. Don't even get me started on that stupid scene with Kiera Knightley pretending to faint to get attention.Ah, it's times like these I wish I had BluRay....POTC is one of my favorites series evarrr!! One of these days I'm gonna jump on the HD bandwagon...
Am I the only one who enjoyed all 3 movies? Sure the second one was long...but it had hillarious moments like the fight inside the water wheel![]()
Maybe the 4th one will just be about trying to get Will out of the Flying Dutchman debt and it will have Kiera and her kid and maybe some of the other secondary characters. But without Depp it would kind of suck as he is mostly the reason I really like the movies.Yes, they are leaving the possibility of a 4th, but Mr Depp has already said he won't sign on for it, though Kiera said she would (or something like that).
I think it's the opposite, at least according to thisYes, they are leaving the possibility of a 4th, but Mr Depp has already said he won't sign on for it, though Kiera said she would (or something like that).
Yeah, figured it was one way or the other, but at some point before 3 was even released, I thought I read that Depp had said he wouldn't come back either because the franchise had "run its course". Get out before it gets old... however I can't imagine a star saying no to the kind of money these movies have made.I think it's the opposite, at least according to this
