Possible Subwoofer Upgrade - Looking for Advice

I have 2 SVS SB-1000 subwoofers (ported). I am thinking of moving to sealed subs - I am 80% music/20% video. I have an issue with boomy bass in my room, which was so bad in one front corner with bass-augmentation that I had to move the right sub down wall.

A diagram and pics of my room (with it's complicated layout and cathedral ceilings) is at this link for viewing: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1L9x314fCfxW7Svsqhp8393OOunI7p-c3?usp=sharing

My question is this: If I move to sealed subs to try and tighten things up and introduce some control, would the SVS PB 1000s work or should I move up to the SB 3000s? The room has a lot of cubic footage with the ceilings. There is a price difference and if I pay more i want to be sure it's justified in better sound.

Also, is there anything else I am missing that should be considered in this decision? I am going to be also buying some room treatments to reduce decay time, and this may benefit my boomy room. I do have a bass trap in the right front corner of the room and will be adding another trap to the front left corner.

Thanks in advance for any help. I really like this community and learn so much from the folks that have more experience than me :)

SB is the sealed one, so you must have PB-1000s. You would definitely need to step up to a more potent sealed ones, as you will lose output at the bottom. The subs should basically never be directly in the corner; that is the most reinforcement and is more likely to create modes. If you are finding that treatments help, if output isn't an issue, then I'd stick with the treatments path first and see how it sounds. If it is output you're looking for, you need more subwoof-age.

My room is approximately 2X the size of yours and one SB-4000 has no problem filling it, however performance in the low 20s and below isn't great. I am OK with that, because the sound is very solid above that. I have swung over to more moves than music, but when I listen to music, I want it to sound as good as it can.
