Hey, he mentioned something and I wasn't sure what he was saying.

Do you run stock left to right or right to left on a router table?

I have a gut feeling that it will be well over 300 bucks but I will just tell you guys that it was $258.
Always bring stock toward the cutting edge or the cutting edge to the stock.
This would normally be right to left. Also never stand behind the stock. Unless you want to be impaled if it kicks back. Of course on long pieces of ply I don't think a router table is a good choice. For this build I do suggest getting a pro to do it. If you want a fun project start out with a madisound RB kit. It's a small easy project.

That shows you the direction.

Don't worry, I am over doing it myself.
It's really not that hard. All you need is wood, clamps, and titebond. This is a simple build. Get Lowes to cut the 9 Ply oak or MDF. I would be glad to come over and cut the hole for you on a Saturday morning with my router and jasper jig. Just make sure I have a nicely clamped back up piece.

We've overwhelmed you on what is a truly simple project. Lowes has a pull down saw that will work wonders.

Honestly I could probably do this build using Lowes as the cutter in a weekend.

I wouldn't do any routing or screwing. All that leaves you to do is glue and paint or veneer.

First injury caused by table saw

So I printed off some material about table saws, reached over to grab it off the printer and got a paper cut!

If that isn't a sign from God, I don't know what is......

Stings really bad:eek:
Don't worry, I am over doing it myself.

I was just thinking that you should still gather up some tools and try to just build a jewelery box. It would get you familiar with the tools and be a fun thing as opposed to all this bigger, badder, stronger, better get it right pressure. See what kind of WAF you get on a small box.

I have a few more fingers to singe. Later.
