Polk TC-60i

Wondered if anyone was familiar with these speakers. For some reason can't find out enough about them (personal review). A co-worker of mine has caught the home audio bug and was talked into buying a set from Tweeter. Little leary from what the salesman told him about these particular speakers--that they were "accent speakers." I recommended some Axiom QS8's for his particular room layout and around the same price. Also leary about in-wall speakers myself. Any input would be appreciated....

Appreciate your response. Looked at their website previously--but wondered does anyone have personal experience with them. Also, wondered what the salesman meant, when he indicated they're "accent speakers."

I often recommend the Polk RC line for people on a tighter budget because of their great bang/buck performance. The TC line offers excellent performance for pairing with Polk's RTi line of in-room speakers. If your friend's room can accommodate on-wall multi-pole surrounds, they may be a better option. Especially for a more diffuse sound. What is the friend using for the front soundstage?
