Hi Guys

I am planning to replace my Bose AM 7 with Polk RTi 10 towers and a Polk CS 3 centres. I have auditioned the speakers and find them good. My question is that can my Yamaha RXV- 1300 be able to power these speakers , I read in various forums that Polks need a lot of power to drive would 100 WPC be enough for them

Thanks for advise

hey, raj...im new to this forum, but not to others....your reciever will not do any justice to these speakers...for their full potential you are going to need to get a seperate amp....your reciever would be lucky to actually be putting out 80 real watts....my reciever is rated at 130watts a channel..(probably putting out 90 real watts)...and didn't even wake up my RTi12's....the easiest way to kill a speaker is to under power it....as soon as i got my adcoms...WOW...i have a speaker that is everything i want in a speaker...you could get by with just your receiver for now, but your not even close to letting the polks get to their potential
