polk r15 vs. r30 rear surrounds

I thought I was set on getting a pair of polk r15's to use as rear surrounds to go with my r50's but i recently found a good deal on a pair of r30's and was wondering how much of difference I would hear from the floorstanders as opposed to the bookshelfs and if anyone had any suggestions. Thank you.

after having used R30 speakers in the front, and R15s for surrounds, I think you would be better off getting the R30s as surrounds, they shouldn't be that much more expensive, and they will have the same size woofers as the R50s. Plus they play lower and have much better porting, and will match better in the looks dept, as well as being a better timbre match.

R30s. I was not totally impressed with the R15s. They are OK for surround duty, but given a choice there's no question.
