Is the Polk PSW10 subwoofer compatable with the Samsung HW-d7000 receiver. The subwoofer out has one RCA? connection and the subwoofer has a L&R in. Thanks in advance for any help.

You just need an RCA splitter. It will be a Y cable...one female RCA connection into 2 male RCA connections. That is how I have mine connected to my Pioneer which only has a single RCA sub out.

Welcome to the forum!

According to page 8 of the owner's manual for your PSW10, you can use either the left or right input and it will work just fine. Alternatively, you can use the y-splitter.

Just and FYI, they do this for systems that do not have a mono sub pre-out, AKA stereo setups which actually is intended to give you more compatibility. The sub is mono, so regardless of which input you use or if you use both even with a stereo signal, the signal is still summed to mono. In addition, most subs will accept a single input into one or the other. Sometimes the manufacturer may identify one as the preferred input, but if it isn't then it doesn't matter which one you use.

I had the speakes and sub with my old receiver. It started acting up, so I got the new receiver.
