Help me decide what to do with my home theater. I have the following:
1 pair Polk LSI9 ported
1 pair Klipsch Synergy SB-2 ported
1 Klipsch Synergy CC C-1 sealed
1 pair North Creek Music Borealis Unlimited speakers with Scanspeak
D2905/9500 tweeter and 18W/8545 woofer. ported
1 NHT SW2P 10 inch ported subwoofer
1 NHT subwoofer amp MA-1 80/90 watt
Yamaha RX-V520 80 WPC
Room 11x14x7
Drop ceiling
Surrounds must be in wall
5.1 is ok, 7.1 is overkill
Considering
1) keep klipsch sb-2 as mains and klipsch c-1 as center. add klipsch in walls for surrounds. cheapest (room is small)
2) keep polk lsi9 as mains, find used polk cc lsic, and add polk in walls. Maybe need to upgrade receiver for polk 4 ohm speakers. receiver has no pre outs. expensive (overkill room small)
3) keep Borealis as mains. Build cc with Scan speak d2905/9500 tweeter, but 18w/8545 7" woofer is too big. What smaller mid woofer would be a good match? what inwalls would match? expensive and time consuming but could be nirvana. I would need someone to design cc speaker
