I am for what is right for America and its LEGAL citizens. I am for reducing the government and putting the power with the people. The more government there is the more they want in taxes. I am for strong national security. I am for common sense laws, keeping as few lawyers out of lawmaking as possible. I am against lobbyists. I am for politicians who put what is right for America and her citizens (by listening to them) first rather than their own agendas or political party association. I am for keeping America a soverign nation by protecting our language, our borders, and our culture. I am for treating every legal citizen equally and fairly by removing all race, ethnic background, sex from all government documents, job applications, school applications and others. I am for removing of all "blank"-American prefixes, your either an American or not. What political class that lumps me in I care not.

Enough joking... politically I'm:

On matter of industry: Social-Democratic Capitalism. Free market economy is good so long as there are democratically decided governmental guidelines which are followed for any number of reasons which can be revistited in future and decided upon by a majority.

Marriage/Civil Unions: Libertarian. The government has no business with who is engaged with who and for what purposes. Marriage is a religious matter and should stay such. Everyone should pay taxes on the same chart.

Social Welfare: History has shown again and again that people who cannot take care of themselves will NOT be cared for by family members (just ask the crazy homeless guy). An advanced society must have a system in place to care for these persons, but it must be far more strictly regulated and controlled than the current system.

Gun Control: Conservative

Immigration: Conservative

I have a problem with the political compass. It defines fascism as authoritarian and communism as collectivism, when communism is equally as authoritarian as fascism. In fact, the two are more similar than dissimilar, with ownership of the means of production as the only significant difference.

Further, it defines neo-liberalism and libertarianism as the same thing on the right, when the economic right is generally considered as Classical Liberalism, while neo-liberalism is a disguised form of socialism. But wait, it gets sillier, in that while it describes libertarianism as neo-liberalism, it also puts libertarian separately on another axis as Anarchism, when libertarian and anarchism couldn't be more different. Anyway, it should at least explain why it places Libertarians as neo-liberal and anarchist, which of course they are neither.

Replace American citizen with Soviet citizen and you'd make a good party communist, Yzumitelno tovarisch! ;)

"CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems."

pwned.

But seriously, do we really need more political threads?

How is what I said even remotely communist? I am completely for capitalism. I do not see how treating everyone as equals on job applications ect. and getting rid of classifications at a government level is in any way communism. Communism/Socialism puts the power completely with the govenment. If you re-read what I stated I am completely against that. The less govenment intervention the better.

Wow. Never knew I was a Libertarian.

I am a Democrat, but I don't always agree with everything they stand for. In the last election, I absolutely HATED Kerry and would have happily voted for an Independent candidate if I thought he had a chance in hell of winning. But to me, it was more important to try and get Bush out of office than try to make a political statement.

I think we should get rid of the 2-party system and give people more choices.
