Please Help

I have a Dayton 12" subwoofer,(old style). Unfortunately I lost the owners manual and the wires. This was done during a recent move. When I bought the Dayton SW three years ago I found out the receiver I had did not support a subwoofer. Flash forward to today and I bought a new receiver, (HK 3480-Z), which does support a subwoofer. Now my problem is I don't know what wires to get to connect it to the receiver and what all the knobs and switch's mean on the back of the SW.
I tried looking up the company that makes them but came up empty. Actual thats how I found this sight.
Can any of you explain in detail what I need and what the knobs on the back represent? Or the name of the company,(web site), or owner manual.

This is a fairly generic subwoofer manual. The stuff inside pretty much applies to all subs.

Generally, you're going to want to use a plain ol RCA cable (look for one that says Subwoofer, Digital Audio, or Video) to connect the sub out of your receiver to the sub in of your sub.

Your subwoofer has L and R subwoofer inputs.

Plug the cable into one or the other. Doesn't matter. They're both directly connected to each other.
