Plasma TV has BCN Connectors.....

I have the Panasonic Plasma TV - TH-50PHD7UY 50" HDTV Plasma Television and will be connecting it up to the Yahmaha RX-2500 receiver and Yahmaha DVD-C950 DVD changer. The TV has componet video but utilizes BCN connectors. Is their a component cable that is normal on one end to connect to the DVD and BCN on the other to go to the TV?

Also, I'm going with Comcast HDTV and am not sure if their box comes with component or HDMI connections. Assuming it comes with component, is their a way to wire the system so only one set of cable needs to go to the TV, instead of 1 from the DVD and 1 from the tuner?

Thanks,

jbruno....I have the same Panasonic...very nice choice. There are cables out there that are RCA / BNC combinations. Check here

Also, if your cable box has HDMI it almost certainly will have component input also. To get only one connection to the TV, run the DVD and the cable box to your receiver and then from the receiver use the "monitor out" to the TV.

Thank you to both respondents :)

So the "monitor out" will basically take any video input from any source (DVD, Cable, etc.) on output it to the TV right?

Also, if the cable has HDMI, would there be a noticable difference in video quality to warrant purchase of the Panasonic HDMI recepticle for the TV?

Thanks Again.
