Episode is an installer brand. I don't know what they quoted you but typically the installers charge a lot of the kind of gear you are getting. I wouldn't want it. You can do a lot better with other brands, if you are willing to do just a little installation work yourself. You might look into getting some of the new Reaction speakers for fronts, the
CX-10s, they will vastly outperform the Episode speakers. Depending on your budget you might look into getting a Klipsch THX setup, its a little bit pricey though.
I wouldn't want the Klipsch subwoofers, in fact I wouldn't want subwoofers from most of these companies except for a few select ones. The best affordable subs come from
Reaction,
Hsu, and
Rythmik. If you can spend more than $2k per sub, I would look at
Funk,
JTR, and
Seaton. These companies also have very good speakers too, but Funk and Seaton are likely out of your budget. JTR and Reaction have killer speakers but nothing in-wall or in-ceiling for an Atmos setup. Atmos recommend that all the surround speakers be timbre matched. Hsu has the HIW speakers that could work well for Atmos in-ceilings. You also might inquire about KEF and RBH speakers, they have in-ceilings that might be good for Atmos.
