Planar Dynamic headphones, good or bad?

Any opinions (silly me for asking) on these? Which would you suggest to get?

From my personal experience electrostatic ear speakers sound the best. Between planar and dynamic it really depends on cans you compare. In some cases planar sound better and in some cases dynamic sound better. To give you recommendation we need to know your budget, what kind of sound you are looking for and are you planning to use them at home or on go? It would be best if you could go and audition headphones in your budget and decide what sounds best to you.

I have Audezs EL-8s an Senn. HD800s and like them both. Just wanted to know what you people think about them. Each has strong points.

It depends on
1 - your intellect and education
2 - your hearing - your ability to hear and process sound [also, but not exclusively, correlated to your age]
3 - your sound preference / aesthetics of noise
4 - genre of music you listen to

It depends totally on the quality and design of the headphone more than the technology, IME.
