Pioneer VSX01TXH

Anyone have any experience with this item? Vann`s has a great deal on it(full warranty). I was also looking at the VSX92TXH, but could only find a deal (sans warranty) on fleabay. Is the 92 a far better receiver? If I wait, Vanns might have a deal on it soon. Does the 01 have any holes in it`s game? I looked at the specs for both and there is some give and take for each. Which would you buy?

The 92 has a much beefier amp section than that of the 01. However, I would opt for the 01 if it was me. You would be hard pressed to go wrong either way. Vann's also has the 03 at a very good price. Be sure to check it out as well. Good luck in your decision. There are plenty of knowledgeable members here that could chime in. Nothing better than making a well-informed decsion imho.

I have pulled the trigger on the VSX-03THX! Git from Vann`s w/ full warranty for $649.00! I feel like I got a great deal. Now onto speakers. I will be living in that forum for a while. Thinking Paradigm330, but am intreuged by the DefTechs Gems as well. Now just waiting for the Pavlovian response that occurs prior to the familiar sound of the Brown Truck!

I just bought a Velo 3750 10"- 650 watt sub. Speaker budget for 5 (or maybe7) would be between $600.00 and $1200.00. I keep looking at the Cadence audio series 19. I know...it is a "white Van Internet Speaker". Thus I will not be buying it. If a reputable company made the same specs....that`s my idea of perfect for my room. I like everything about it (disregarding the normal number twisting).
One thing that I hate about Paradigm is that all of their Cinema series bottoms out at 110+kz. I like to cross my sub at about 80 or less. Seems to leave a gap...no???

not white van but... return the sub and look at the svs sbs offering with an upgraded sub.. you wil not be let down for 1200-1500
