Pioneer vs Yamaha?

Hi: I've finally sold my 56txi! Replacing it with either a used Yamaha 1900 or a new Pioneer 1125(A futureshop model up here in Canada that is a clone of the VSX-32. My room is about 1,700 cubic feet speakers are Axiom M-60's,Axiom VP-150,Mirage rear speakers.I'm wondering about amp quality which one is better??Thanks

I have the Yamaha RX-V1900. It has been a plug and play unit. I have been really happy with it. I looked on Yamaha web site before I purchased mine to see if they had any upgraded firmware.......none. I really enjoy the "Pure Direct" mode for 2 amp music to my old Klipsch Cornwall speakers. I use to have McIntosh seperates on these Cornwalls 30 years ago(when Pop owned them). I really enjoy the HD audio on Blurays as these amps are clean for $1,300.00 (retail)AVR.
