As far as I understand it, one needs a 7700k or newer intel chip, windows 10, and a pioneer 4k drive. I could put that together with a used 1080ti to boot for less than 1000 bucks. But does the Pioneer BDR211UBK internal PC drive do Dolby Vision or HDR10?
Or is there point to a UDP-LX500? It's a 1000 bucks. I don't know why it's a 1000 bucks. Does anyone?
Or a Panasonic DP-UB820-K? It's 500. It has Dolby Vision.
Or should I keep my Sony X800 that I bought for 250. It crashes a couple times a month, and it doesn't have Dolby Vision, but is it really worth it to get another player?
