Pioneer SC 27 connection question

Hello,

My Pioneer has only one input for a sub woofer... does this mean that I can only attach one sub woofer to my HT? Or is there a way to externally connect another one?

You mean one output.

You can connect more than one subwoofer. Just buy a "Y" connector with one male plug and two female jacks. Voila! Two subwoofer jacks!

K thanks for the info. I have another question:

If you have 2 subs, how important is it that they be the same?

I currently have a PSB subsonic 5i and I would like to get another one in the near future. I am looking at SVS or Rhythmik. Is the one I have worth keeping or should I sell it and get 2 of whatever I end up deciding on?

Two of the same sub is definitely better than two different subs. With two different subs the performance characteristics will be different so you will probably get uneven bass response even after room correction.

Definitely sell the PSB and get two of whatever SVS or Rhythmik you were thinking of getting if you can swing it. You definitely won't regret it.
