A friend has the Elite VSX-49TX and has worked perfectly until this past week. Any digital signal works perfect, no problems. Whenever he switches to an analog signal (Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360 in his case) there is massive amounts of static and the overload light comes on. You can still hear the sound, but barely over the large amount of "White noise".
I found a workaround, which is to change the signal from Analog to Digital, unplug the audio cables, switch the signal back to Analog and plug them back in. Works every time. When he plugs them back in, we hear a slight ground loop hum, then audio.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
