Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH issue - HELP!

First time poster - I hope someone here can lend me a hand!

I'm in the process of completely updating my home theater. I recently purchased a Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH receiver to replace my older VSX-43TX. I mainly wanted the new unit so that I could run HDMI to accommodate my new Samsung LN46B750 LCD TV. Now that I've tweaked the receiver to my liking, I have but one problem - when I turn the receiver on, the receiver always switches to the TV/SAT mode rather than just remain on the HDMI input I use for for the Comcast DVR. Why does this happen? I can't seem to fix this.

Any input on this problem would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Just disable the Kuro Link option. Fixed mine.

I also did a lot of customization of the settings after I ran the auto MCACC setup. The MCACC was great for determining the channel delay settings, but it did some wonky things to the EQ and channel levels. Sounded like crap until I tweaked it.

Got any other setup tips, as I'm assuming you've had yours for a while? Right now, I only have the receiver, Comcast DVR, and TV. I'm looking to add a Blu-Ray as soon as I determine which one I should get (looking to spend around $300)...

i just purchased the same reciver and ran the auto mcacc setup the system sounds good but not great and i am new to the home theater game. any tips on making it sound better.
