pioneer cx-770 ribbon cable?

hi i have an 11 year old stereo pioneer cx-770 pro-logic receiver and preamp. it has a ribbon cable that connects the receiver to the the preamp i was wondering if it is possible to get an extionsion cable for this ribbon cable so they can sit side by side instead of on top of each other?

Possibly. More than likely, though, it's a custom cable made just for that unit (or family of units) - so finding one to buy may be impossible. You could extend the cable yourself if you were handy with wires.

Hopefully someone here will have a better answer for you, as it's almost always easier to just be able to order something!
