Hello there,
I was recently asked by a friend of mine if I'm intrested in buying his old speakers, the Pioneer CS-7030, and wanted me to mention the price i want to pay for those. I wanted to ask you if it's worth a buy? An what price should I pay for those?

He's also selling me his A/V the Sony S2354, worth too?

Thanks a lot for your replies.

Welcome to the forum!

Have you heard those speakers? Did you like them?

Well thanks!

I did listen to them actually and quite liked them, but I'm the guy who enjoys music in any form and using a simple 5 year old 40$ 2.1 speakers from Creative, so I never actually listened to high quality speakers for a long period of time to notice any form of distortion or unclarity of the sound. That's why I'm asking you guys if those speakers are really what I think they are, super quality speakers who will let me enjoy my music a lot better than before.

I hope some others chime in because I have no experience with or knowledge of those speakers.

My advice would be to go out and listen to other speakers if you can. Go to an audio/video store and audition some speakers. That's not encouragement to get something different, but rather it gives you a chance to listen to other speakers and get a better idea of how much you like those Pioneers versus some other speakers that are available. You might even decide that you like other speakers better but that the Pioneers are still a good buy for the money.

Well I think i'm going to do that. Thanks Adam for the advice.
And by the way, is paying 150$ for the speakers+ A/V Reciever is a good price? Or should it be lower?

Well that's it, bought them along with the A/V reciever and they just sound great!
The sound is so clear i'm just tearing up right now.

These speakers are actually been made in France with the intention to sell them to of Europe countries and especially Russia but because they were so successful (and quite expansive) Pioneer released a worldwide series of the same speakers under the name of CS-7070.

So you will find these speakers only in Russia right now, and because I live in Israel and packed with Russians here then I managed to get my hands on these.
