MSRP: $1500 and $499

Weight: 35.3lbs and 35.3lbs

Dimensions: 16.54 x 7.36 x 18.35 (WxHxD) and 16.54 x 6.81 x 18.35

So my question is, are the chips worth an extra $1001? I'm calling
and saying to go with the 1016TXV. That to me, looks like one helluva receiver for the money. Kudos for the weight gain on both models. And no, it's not the 38.3 lbs the Yamaha RX-V1600 is, but it's also not $1100 MSRP, either.

Buck: What do you think about these Pioneer Elite's-like the 84? Does it compare with the Denon product? I'm considering the 4306-B stock-or a brand new Yammy 2600, or this 84-any insights from you would be greatly appreciated.
