here where I am ... HK's are always more expensive than comparable spec'd receivers. my point: if its the same price as the HK, its most likely better in wattage.
yamaha for example would beat HK at the same price point. both units are HIGH current. IMO, the only reason to get HK is brand recognition and its good looks. (and of course if you can get it at a good price)
