Pinnacle PN6+ Impedence 6 or 8 ohms?

I recently picked up a pair of second hand Pinnacle PN6+ speakers.

I'm looking at purchasing an inexpensive receiver (Sherwood or Teac) and both state to connect speakers with no less than 8 ohms.

The label on the back of the Pinnacle PN6+ says 8 ohms, however I got access to an old Pinnacle brochure for the PN+ series of speakers and it shows the
PN6+ impedence as 6 ohms. Does anyone know which is correct? or if it will effect a receiver specified at no less than 8 ohm speakers - my listening is at low to moderate volume levels.

I have them connected to a 30+ year old Kenwood KR-6200 reciever. They sound nice, however my KR-6200 is old and randomly cuts out one channel or the other. I don't think this has anything to do with the Pinnacle speakers as it does this with any pair of speakers that are connected. I've opened the receiver (top and bottom) and cleaned all the pots which made some improvement but it still cuts out occasionally.

Thanks,
Jim

The OP in this AVS thread hooked them to a HK AVR140 without incident, so you may be fine depending on model.

Which specific model of Sherwood or Teac? We might be able to recommend something in a matching budget but with better quality.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm looking bottom of the line Sherwood RX4109 or RX5502, Teac AG790A. These both have a phono section. The only reason I got interested in picking up some used equipment - Kenwood KR6200, Gemini XL-500 Turntable, and the PN6+ speakers is to listen to and convert my old vinyl (1960's - 70's) to CD's. 2 channel stereo with a phono section is all I need, I don't even need a tuner if there is a budget integrated amp with phono section available.
