Currently have a Sony SXRD and want to use the side by side picture feature with my Satellite. Is the easiest way to do that to buy another satellite receiver and hook both of them up?

If so, what is the best way to split the incoming line to be able to run to both receivers? Do I have to do it all the way out at the dish? Or can I split it behind the TV?

Thanks,
Marc

What format are you using to transfer the video signal? Component, DVI or HDMI? A switcher might be the way to go, say a "4-in, 2-out" type. It will let you compare\ feed multiple sources to the TV and you can keep it for future use.

Using HDMI, but that's not the connection question. More about splitting the coaxial from the dish to the back of the two Satellite Receivers.
