Picking a Reciever

That Yamaha was/IS a great reciver at a great price. It was out of his budget though, and he wanted to get a system together. You have to rember this is a first system, so anything is gonna be good for now. He does have plans of upgrading in the near future, when some features trickle down, and he has the money to get a really nice reciever. The onkyo was bought due to being able to go get it now (no waiting) and a decent price. With all that said, maybe I should snag that Yamaha

Should have sold him your Integra and purchased the Yamaha. He will probably enjoy the Onkyo, mostly because of how easy they are to setup and use.

I tried to sell him all my stuff, he was wise to my ways though. That bastard Probably better for both of us this way. He has a nicer more up to date set up, and I really really want to upgrade (eventhough Im trying to get a house) Sounds about right if you ask me.

i noticed your list of goodies. just last week i helped my buddy put 4 atoms and the pdr12 in. denon 2307(ci) is pushing them. he has a 20'x30' room 9'ceilngs w/ hardwoods. any suggestions or tricks you picked up w/ the digm's
