I finally broke down and bought a P&S because I end up bringing too many lenses when I travel and it's just too heavy. After playing with it a bit, I think I've decided that I can't live with a P&S camera!
 
I finally broke down and bought a P&S because I end up bringing too many lenses when I travel and it's just too heavy. After playing with it a bit, I think I've decided that I can't live with a P&S camera!

I own a simple and old dslr which can take good shots, but my next camera will be a rugged p&s like Panasonic DMC-TS3 or Sony DSC-TX10
 
Yeah, I might get a g12 or something at some point, but, that's fine for parties, family stuff, going out, etc. but not for shooting events and so forth. Like I did a car show last weekend, where switching between 35mm and 250mm within a second would have been nice. It's also a time issue.

I also considered a third party lens, but, I donno.
