When I use my phono, there will be a loud ground hum. If I bend the cable near the plugs that connect to the receiver, it stops. I assume there is a break in one or the other cables that enter the plug. If I cut the cable back an inch or two, are there plugs I can buy that come apart and allow me to reconnect with out solder? I'd replace the cable, but it"s a real pain to get to the other end, and I'd probably have to cut and solder, and I don't have the equipment. Thanks for any help OF-1
