Like anything in life moderation is best. Nothing wrong with a little animal protein. The problem is that meat becomes the center of the meal and for some the only part. For me its a little meat and lots of the other stuff. So you could say that ones diet is like audio, we should all strive for balance

As for women in ads most of the time I understand but really if I want to see hot women I'll watch some porn, pick up a Playboy, or......well you get the idea :p
From a health standpoint, it is possible to get all the nutrients one needs with a vegan diet, and it is possible to get all the nutrients one needs with an omnivorous diet. However, the vegan will have this advantage: Animal fats are bad for you, and the vegan won't be taking in any of them. It may be possible while eating an omnivorous diet to take in so little animal fat that it will not noticeably harm one's health, but that doesn't make it a good idea. It is probably also possible to smoke so little tobacco that it won't noticeably harm one's heath, but that doesn't make it a good idea to smoke just a little.

I never complained about that ad, I was complaining about that list that followed. And they didn't say a "poor diet" will make you lousy in the sack, they said MEAT will. ****ing PETA, they make it sound like we're the ones torturing animals. Certain animals are bread to be eaten, they serve no other purpose (like a cow). I have never eaten dog or cat (that I know of...).

If you pay someone else to do something, don't you think you are responsible for it? If not, then Mafia leaders typically are not responsible for any deaths, because they typically never directly kill anyone; they pay someone else to do it. If you buy meat, you are paying the people who made it, and you are paying them for doing whatever it is that they did in making it.

As for certain animals being bred to be eaten, of course, that is true. But you seem to take it for granted that they should be bred for that purpose. I think most animal rights people would say that they should not be bred in the first place.

Now I'm pissed. I clicked on the Milk Gone Wild thing and saw a bunch of udders. That ain't cool. :D

I lived on a farm in Alachua County FL for about a year. There were around 300 head of cattle (mostly Herfords) and I never saw anything like that. The man who bought the farm brought Dairy Cows. The farm was 750 acres. I'm not saying bad things don't happen but you can't trust those freaks to be fair. They are nothing but sensationalists. I'm still pissed about the udders.
What is done on a small family run farm is not representative of what goes on with the majority of the meat supply, which is mostly produced by large companies (in addition to the fact that dairy cows are not the majority of the meat supply). Did the farm where you work slaughter any cows? If not, then your experience is totally irrelevant to any slaughter, much less to what happens with large beef producers.

I forgot to add with my first response to this, what is stated in the banned ad is "Studies show ... vegetarians have better sex ... go veg". Given the fact that studies show that vegetarians generally live longer, healthier lives, that isn't really surprising at all.

Anyone interested in statistics on such things should search the internet.

I don't care how you justify it, gay porn is degrading to at least one guy.
