Rita and I saw this when it came out while were on vacation in Pennsylvania in a very basic (and cheap) small town theatre.

It was a fun diversion and some of the scenes were fascinating (the bull in particular) so I out it on my "when it comes down in price" list.

WEll, it's there. I got the Blu-Ray yesterday and we watched it and, holy sheets, the picture quality is excellent and the sound is to die for. It may wind up being my demo disc for a while.

PS - this is far better than the first Percy Jackson, movie - IMNSHO anyway. But, then again, being the second in a seies, there was not as much exposition to drag the story down.

In other news, the final book of the series (Heroes of Olympus -- the continuation of the Percy Jackson series) will be released in October. I've been waiting for years to see what will happen to Percy and Annabeth. Will they be offered immortality and a life in Olympus? Will they settle down and raise a family in New Rome as mortals? It's terribly exciting.
