I stumble upon this a few days ago. Pearl Acoustics manufactures a single-driver speaker, but that is not the interesting part: the conversation(s) about music and good recordings are the highlights.

I can't imagine those speakers sounding good at all, at least outside of midrange frequencies and maybe upper bass and lower treble. They won't have much dynamic range either.

That is why I posted this in "Musical Goodness" - as I said, it's not really about the speakers, but the content. The Bach Book by Jacques Loussier Trio is a treat and I've never heard of it. I'm kicking myself for not knowing about it for 25 years.
