Hi All,

new here and not sure if I am posting in the right section.
I have not been able to find a forum on how to proper hook up my new LG LCD TV to my PC and would greatly appreciate some help.

My PC is a Quad core at 2.4 stock.
Video Card: eVGA 8800 GTS 512MB with 2DVI conectors and 1 S-Video.
My TV: LG4270
120hz 42" LCD

Connection through DVI to HDMI Cable and into my LG into HDMI 1.

My videocard can support: 1920 x 1080 at 8bit=100hz, 16bit=100hz and 32bit=100hz
My TV can suppport: 1920 x 1080, I presume 120hz.
hxxp://ca.lge.com/en/products/model/detail/lcdtv_42lg70.jhtml#

But I can only get 1378x 768 stable - key word stable.

If I to my e-vga control Panel - and select 1920 x 1080 Native.
Then it works but every 10sec to 30 sec, it blanks out for up to 10 sec and then comes back.

I want to be able to get 1920 x 1080 stable on Windows XP and games.
that's why I bought this TV from Futureshop for $1100.00 canadian.

Look forward to some input.

Take Care
DN

Does your display have a vga input? If so try that instead of the dvi-hdmi connection. This is to check stability first.
