Everyone is so well behaved.
I thought I accidentally logged into the steam vent of the crocheting forum I belong to.

My wife's knitting forums have some pretty nasty flame wars. Some are in the "steam vent" type areas. But she once showed me an extremely nasty war over acrylic vs. natural fibers.

Really.

The idea is that people who put down acrylic yarns are elitist - it was an all-out class war.

If there's a dental care forum somewhere, believe you me, people are at each others throats right now on the waxed vs. unwaxed dental floss issue.

Besides, it's been quite a while since Obama's army of lawyers descended upon upon Alaska to dig up dirt on her, yet they seem awfully silent. Could that be because she is a competent, ethical, experienced executive after all?

Maybe it's because she's only been governor - of the 4th least populous state in the union - for barely 2 years, and hasn't had the time, power, or political weight to actually do much of anything?

I'm not advocating one view or the other, but both are possible conclusions to draw from the facts.

BTW, acrylic yarns suck. Really. It's not elitist to prefer nice yarn over crappy plastic yarn.
