Actually Paramount pictures used to sell all kind of Speakers back in the 80's and 90's. I used to live in Orange County, CA and back in 1993 or 1994 they decided that they don't want anything to do with them and liquidated their assets. I am not sure whether they built these speakers themselves or just had a branded plate attached to speakers made by someone else. However the speakers were decent. I bought a couple of tower speakers that were originally marked for $550 each and paid only $110 for the pair. My roommate bought a huge speaker set that had 12" Woofers and sounded awesome. They cost probably $180 or $200, I can't remember. We got them on the 2nd last day from their own store and the bigger speakers were originally marked for $800 each. I still have these speakers but I use them as rear surrounds for my home theater. They still sound great and the only thing that I had to change was one of the tweeters that was blown out.
They look great and I have looked inside at the crossovers and other bits and pieces and they are made of good quality components. I can easily compare them to Infinity towers. However they need a lot of power to be driven correctly and do not sound too good if you have an ordinary amplifier.
I hope this answers your question.
