Hi all

I am thinking about getting the ADP 590's to complete my 5.1 system. I have no room for floor or shelf rear speakers. I plan to mount the ADP's slightly forward of my seating position 6" below the ceiling. My TV and seating are opposite each other against the wall in a 15x15x8 room. There are constraint that demand the ADP be that high on the wall, approx 7' to center, however none for front to back positioning.

set up currently:

Denon 2807
Studio 60-front
cc590- center
svs sb-12 plus

Is this is a reasonable way to round out to 5.1

Thanks

DN

Dipoles like the ADP would be a good choice for surrounds especially given that the other speakers are also Paradigm. The height of them is not a problem but since you have no constraints on lateral placement, you should try to mount them either straight across from the listening position or slightly behind the listening position - that would match the Dolby recommended placement of 90-110 degrees from the listening position.

Got um.

They are nice little speakers. I'll let you all know how they sound after I mount them. One thing for sure is you have to be careful how you grab them to avoid poking a finger into them :)
