Paradigm Reference 450 series?

I am looking at these right now and about to go demo them.

Fronts: LCR-450

Center: CC-450

Surrounds: ADP-450



I saw a guy selling a similar set like this on audiogon for 1k+ but with a subwoofer.

I can get all of this for around $500. Is this a good deal?

I tried searching for these but didn't come up with much or any professional comparisons.

Any input is welcome, thanks

Yes that is a good deal. The Reference 450 is a discontinued product from Paradigm and were rated very highly at their time of release. I have never heard them myself but they were very highly revered in the past. I would say that is a good deal as the people that do have them don't let them go.....

Hi. I have a pair of these and for their size sound excellent. I have a paradigm sub 3400. Very impressed with it. As far as the 450s are concerned i wish i could find another pair. Like golddust im afraid. I am using Mission 753s for front left and right and rear surround . the 450s used for middle surround. Monitor audio for front centre. Until i can find some more 450s this setup will have to do. brisankz.
