Anyone ever have any issues with these speakers. I can get a set for $899can. Would these be comparable to Axiom M 60's?

I believe they are larger than M60s, and definitely have more drivers. IMO they are a bit muddy in the midbass unless you have a room in which you can properly set them up, but they are good speakers.

I got a pair of the new Monitor 9 V6s and I love them. Yeah I can understand how the midbass can be considered "muddy", but personally I don't mind. I love the overall sound that comes from them and find them a good progression from the 12-year old Monitor 7s that they replaced (back then, the Monitor 7s had the same sized drivers).

AVguide has a good review of them here:

The entire Monitor series offers very good value. The tower models do get a bit sloppy, as Paradigm wants them to give full-range, forward sound. If you take the time to properly set them up and try to avoid exaggerating the bass frequencies I think you'll be very happy with them.
