Paradigm M7 Or Axiom Mt60

I can get the axiom mt60 for 700.00 new,or the paradigm monitor 7 and the cc370 for 850.00.cant demo the axioms but have read the reviews.Demod the monitor 7s,awesome.Please help,my hk7300 has arrived.

If you haven't already, check out the Axiom forums. There should be someone in your area who is willing to let you come over and listen to their setup. Heck, you could even take your 7300 to see how they work together.

Axiom M60ti are A++

I just bought the Axiom M60ti ($900.00 from Axiom website) and I cant stop listening to my music collection. They have awesome sound. Some people claim they are bright but I am sold on these, I wont give them up for any other speaker. There is a track on the Tool - Lateralis album where I can almost make myself believe the drummer is in the room with me.

Something funny I noticed, the louder I play the speakers the better they sound .

I haven't heard the Axiom speakers but have listened to the Monitor 7's a couple of times and like them a lot. Considering the price they are terrific with both movie sound tracks and 2 channel music. I'm sure they would be a good match with the HK 7300. You can't go wrong with the Monitors.

Regretfully I have never heard the Axiom's however I was seriously looking at the Axiom M60Ti & M80Ti VS the Paradigm Monitor 9's & 11's (The M60Ti seems closer to the 9's than 7's to me). I had actually wanted the M80Ti but the 4 Ohm rating scared me off and after a listen the Paradigm Monitor 11's blew me away so I purchased them. At the end of the day I suspect you'll be happy with either as all indications from these boards as well as others is that the Paradigm's and Axiom's are both great speakers.

Whats the name and where is the store that quoted you that price for the monitor 7 and cc370 combo, i need to call them and talk and see if i can get that same price, thats a great deal on that combo?

How much will it be to get the matching center for the axioms. It's crucial for HT to atleast match the front three. If it costs more then $850 like the paradigm package then somehow find out from someone how they compare to see if it would be worth the added cost. Otherwise, get the paradigms, you already know what they sound like and you are happy with them, I know I sure am still very impressed with my 7's and cc370.

Cam the axiom center is a vp150 and cost 385.00,have you heard the Axiom speakers,I hear rave reviews.And about your monitor 7s do you love them and what center are you running the 370?thanx

Spiffyfast its the dealer in my hometown in Santa Cruz,he's selling me the m7s that are floor modles because he doesnt stock the m7s and I dont want to wait 4 weeks.He said he misquoted the center but will sale that new to me for 250.00 but is regulary 379.00?

I would try auditioning the PSB Image T55s as well for tha kinda money. Its a very revelaing speaker with out getting in your face about it. It just disappears inthe background andlestthe music come out.
