was wondering what everyones thoughts are on these speakers?
are they worth the money?
how many people are happy with this system?
or am i better off putting same amount of money into floor/stand speakers?

would get 5 Cinema 330 and ultracube 10 subwoofer.

Cinema 330 are 319=349 bucks each.

ultracube 10 subwoofer. 849

how much could i negotiate these down? what price were you able to negotiate them down too, feel free to PM me also.

system is little over my budget.

My suggestion to you.

Hi Steve,

I just respond to your question from your other thread.
I am quite familiar with Paradigm speakers, and the system that I pick for you would be excellent. And that's from my good experience with these speakers.
Again:
A pair of Paradigm Monitor 7 for your two front mains.
A pair of Paradigm Atom Monitor for your two surrounds.
A Paradigm CC-190 for your center.
And A Paradigm DSP-3100 for your subwoofer.

Total 5.1 speaker system list = $1,860.
Try a deal for $1,250 for the full package.

Cheers,

Bob

What are your expectations and limitations for this system? Do you require on-walls?

I'm using Cinema 220's and 110's in my bedroom system. The only real issue with the Cinema Series is the low end extension. You will need to run the subwoofer with a pretty high crossever point, like 110 or 120 Hz. I think they sound pretty decent...for an on-wall speaker. In reality, I think you would be better of with a system such as what Lord of the Rings suggested above or another system like that. The Cinema Series is okay when space or mounting issues trumps absolute sound quality.

I'm using them in a room that is 15'x25'x8' sitting about 14 feet from the tv and they seem to fill up the room. Just put a good sub with them and you will be happy. Their aimed for for ht but music still sound nice.
