Paradigm Center Speakers Question

Anybody have the Paradigm CC-690 or CC-590. I have the CC-690 on order. My question is that what height is the speaker without the feet. The online literature only has the height with the feet. Do you think that if the feet are removed and the speaker sets directly on a shelf that the sound would be dramatically influenced? Found a piece of furniture that has a hidden center shelf bu the height is 9". 7/16" to little. It looks like the feet elevate the speaker about 1/2"

I had the same problem.
The feet add one inch on my Signature C3, if that helps at all.
They look like the same feet.

The CC-690 is exactly 8.5" tall without the outriggers attached. Roughly 9.5 with. I do not believe you will suffer any degradation of sound, but I would advise putting isolation pads to the bottom. You can get some that do not transfer energy, just do a search. And if you do, don't put them on the CC-690, put them where you are going to sit it.
