I would hope that this is indeed a rumor as well but maybe , just maybe this could spell the end of the plasma as we know it, I have the Pio 500M and have really considered moving it to the bedroom for a bigger (70") and I know that would most likely not be a plasma probably the Sharp, I think the bigger we want/get the less plasma we see in that set up. I do think my Pio truly sucks up some energy and it is the set we mostly watch so yes I am thinking about the savings there in the long run as well, I despise the electric bills like nobody else.
