3 Questions

1. My player is not connected to the internet, so no firmware updates. How can I check what firmware version I have. Instructions I found for other players don't work.

2. What is the recommended hardware (make and model) to connect to the player to connect wirelessly to my router 2 floors away?

3. Lastly if I burn the updated firmware to a cdr, do I just plug it in to the player and let it run its course.

Documentation provided with electronics equipment just plain sucks.

2) You need a wireless bridge. There are many manufacturers of these. It connects to your router wirelessly and converts to a physical wire at the player. Something like this: http://www.oppodigital.com/wireless-bridge-kit-WBK1/ (there are many of these so shop around).

I was holding down the wrong button. I have version 1.5. Burned update 2.something, but could not get it to replace verion 1.5.

Going to try the wireless repeater like suggested or a powerline adapter. Does anybody have any powerline adapter recomendations?

I will tack this question on, how can I add netflix streaming to my TV? BR player doesn't support it, my TV is a panny g10. I don't think it supports it. Don't have a Wii.
