No 7.1 Analog Output.
Yes Bitstream for TrueHD & DTS-HD MA.
For $500, this BD player doesn't seem to be worth it.

For your application, no. It is a $500 new Blu-ray and supports HDMI 1.3. It's a good deal for someone that has an HDMI 1.3 receiver (at least in this point in the format war). Nuff said.
