I am upgrading to plasma, and my upgrade-itis can be your gain.

I have the following for sale: Panasonic PT-50LCX63
50" Diagonal Multimedia Projection Display with Built-In ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuners and CableCARD Slot. It is ONLY one year old. Except for the 60" version, this was a Panasonic top of the line tv last year. It's a true High Def TV as it includes built-in HD NTSC tuner (you don't need an HD converter) and (if you get cable tv) allows for elimination of the cable decoder box with the cable card slot. It is beautiful and in 'as new' condition. You can see more information at:

http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vProdSupportModel?displayTab=R&surfModel=PT-50LCX63&modelNo=PT-50LCX63&storeId=15001&catalogId=11017&itemId=64593&displayServiceCenter=true

It has the HDMI connex option and I will include a new 2 meter DVI-Gear cable (HDMI-HDMI...$70 cost).

Unfortunately, I do not have the original packaging. I had the "white glove" shipping from Panasonic, where they deliver, set it up, and haul away all the packing stuff. So...local pickup is suggested (Oregon). I will attempt to arrange for professional shipping with the right offer. These units sold new for $3600. Make offer, but I'm thinking ~$2K. All offers will be considered. PM me please.

It's never too early to start thinking about holiday presents!! ;)

Good cheer.

...and a picture

I thought you might like to see the TV. This was taken about two weeks ago for another thread on Audioholics. Sorry about the glare...my poor photographer skills come at no extra cost. :)

Wow, I'd buy that off you too RJ....if I wasn't already so poor from paying for college at this University. Wishful thinking though...

Anyone want to donate the "Jaxvon Needs a Sweet TV in his Room" fund?

It probably won't be cheap, Johnny. BUT...you're not far away...about a 6 hour drive after the ferry to Port Angeles. (Dang...we were just up there a couple of weeks ago, too.:( )

I'll look into shipping costs and let you know.

I think this may be a DLP rear projection unit, rather than an LCD rear projection?

***********update********************

Whoops got confused, I didn't know panasonic made LCD rear projections as well, they havn't put out any where I live :(.

BTW have you noticed any major advantages when viewing your new plasma over the RPTV?

Cheers

Sadly, I have to sell this one before I get the plasma. I think the viewing angle diminishes with plasma is the major negative.

Johnny,

Sorry to say that shipping is cost prohibitive...hundreds to crate/ship/duty. That said, if you can wait awhile...I can meet you in Port Angeles with it in the back of my 4Runner. I'm not exactly certain when we'd be going up there, though....couple of months, maybe. Plus, next week I'm going to be advertising it in our local, small, rural newspaper. (Unlikely sell since this town is so small.)

But let me know what you think.

Good cheer.

Links to any reviews? I know panasonic are good..not really familiar with TV's. I know a bit about audio, not much about displays.
