I wrote Monster, Adcom, and Panamax reguarding recommendations, here is the first reply, from Panamax:

"Dear Chris,

Thank you for your email. Before I go further the max5100 is a 15 amp unit,
I suggest you get a max 4400 20 amp unit to accommodate the large capacity
draw of your subwoofer amplifier, then plug the max5100 into the max4400 and
still enjoy the noise filtration on your max5100. You have a DLP projector
tv and I would also like to suggest a battery back up max1500-UPS which
would give you enough time to cool down your projector before shutting down,
thus preventing damaging your bulb which are very expensive.

Should you have anymore question, please do not hesitate to respond to this
email.

Sincerely,

Mary Ann
Customer Support Specialist"

I think I would rather just put in a dedicated 20amp service for the home audio and use this with the 5100 plugged into the 15a side, and the mackie plugged into the 20a side....think this would work?? Or would a dedicated breaker make this semi overkill? I can't imagine noise supression being too important on a sub amp.

PS I've also noticed on the Monster hts3600 and hts500 they both list "50 amp peak current capacity for the demanding loads" in the product block diagram. Does this mean it'll handle my load (that sounds bad :))?

You can get Furman stuff from Musicans Friend and Parts Express, and I'm sure other places sell it too. Where to find the best price? I'm really not sure.

Parts Express and Musician's Friend both seem to feature the older Furman stuff, not the new Elite 15 or Powerstrip versions that are so great. I would contact a local dealer, have them order the product, and ship it to you. My local dealer is Ultra Media (www.ultramedia.biz).
