Hey all I'm Tyler and I'm new to this forum.
I have been given a set of Paisley SPL 2000 speakers. The catch is that the foam surround on the mid-range drivers has deteriorated to the point that there is not much of it left. I doubt that I'll be able to find a re-cone kit for these woofers so I want to replace the drivers. Do any of you have experience with these particular speakers and/or can someone please give me some suggestions as to what driver might fit in nicely sound-wise? I can't gather much information from the existing drivers as far as part number goes, all I know is that they're 6 1/2" woofers.
Also, will it even be worth it to replace the woofers? Apparently these speakers sounded amazing before they sat and the surround broke up.
