Wealthier people can have more expensive toys. Nothing new there. It isn't any more or less over-the-top than some other wealthy toys I've seen. However, I think this particular setup is rather ugly and the number of surround speakers is not only unnecessary but probably gets in the way of localizing moving sounds. Personally, I would have spent perhaps a million and done it so it would look and sound better. The other 5 million could go into something else. But, at least, it is unique and the owner likes it. That's fine.
