After over a year of delays and other financial obligations I have the green light to start building a dedicated theater room in my basement. The dimensions when finished will be 21.5Lx10.5Wx7.5H. I already have my base layer minus one sub, all Klipsch.
RP450C CENTER
RP260F MAINS
Rp140sa side surrounds
Rb61ii rear surrounds
2x R115sw
Going to get four Klipsch 6.5 in in-ceilings, don't remember model number.
My question is I have a Denon X4300h that has 11 channels of processing but only 9 internal amps. Would I be better off with a outlaw 5000 that takes more pressure off my AVR or Parasound 2125 which will get to 11 channels and probably sound better for music which I love listening to. I know Klipsch is super efficient but I listen at high volumes. Any input is appreciated.

Good amps don’t sound different. I agree with most here in saying that’s a myth.
With efficient speakers like Klipsch, an Outlaw 5000 for your Front3+Surrounds would be more than sufficient for your ears to bleed. ;) run your Rears and Atmos from your AVR.
If you really think you need more power still (you shouldn’t) look at Emotiva, too.
Cheers.

Yeah Ryan nailed this one perfectly I have 3 of the RP8000f as my 3 mains and I'm running them with an Emotiva Gen3 and that's totally overkill.

I'm not even coming close to pushing that amp those speakers are very efficient.

That outlaw would drive those speakers just fine and it's a great sounding amp it got an excellent review here on audioholics.

Sounds great guys, looks like I'll get the Outlaw. I was leaning that way anyways but just wanted someone to reaffirm that decision. I'll be posting progression pictures in a different thread when I get started so look forward to that lol
