have read various threads and am considering the following:

- Boston Acoustics Voyager 7 -- like that it has 8" woofer to move some air in an area w/o any reinforcement, people seem to like it

- Paradigm Stylus 470 -- Paradigm is always high value stuff, just think they may be good. Not sure where to buy though

- Klipsch AW 650 -- people seem to like it and Ks are always efficient which is useful for the wide open outdoors

- B&W WM6 -- not a huge B&W fan, and only a 5" woofer, but likely to be good quality

Comments/experiences anyone? Much thanks.

I go against the grain on this one and chose the least expensive ones. Outdoor speakers are...ummm...outdoors and are competing with too many conflicts to use as critical listening speakers. I use some $40 Duals and they hold up to weather well and sound fine for outdoors.

I hear ya, it's crossed my mind that SQ might be a bit of a lost cause outside anyway.

I dont mind spending money on the inside stuff but outside is just background sound to me and I have been pleased with the cheap duals for over 1.5 years now.
